Help Rooting Verizon S4

Hi, I'm wanting to root my verizon s4 so I can get custom roms and stuff. I was wondering if theres an easy way to do this.

Android Version 4.4.2

Baseband i545vrufnc5

1) Custom ROMS are usually rooted, You don't root the phone to get the ROM, you get rooted by installing the ROM.

2) I don't think there's a way to root Verizon 4.4.2 yet.

(And 3) there's no way to go back to 4.3 that I know of.)

Ummmmm...... You have to root to be able to add a custom ROM.
As for the VZW 4.42 you have to downgrade, then root, then Safe Strap (SS), then there's onlt a few ROMs. And the bootloader is still locked, so no custom recovery.

Two methods currently that you can follow and neither are super easy.

2) gigilie's method - 4.x to 4.4.2 SAFEUp&Downgrade w Root n SafeStrap 4 ALL ROMs NC5 /2 THIS IS ALL U NEED - xda-developers
