Root Rooting With Unrevoked

2 questions. It says you need a driver on windows. Is that old data or is that still the case? When I connected my incredible to my computer i can see all the drives and everything...is that all you need?

Second, to use unrevoked on linux is the program dependent on X or any other GUI or can it be done via command line?

You need the driver for windows only. The program is self-contained no user interaction is needed or can be done.
If running on linux you just need to run the program as super user.
