Root Rooting your Motorola XPRT

I notice the guide says to download Version 1.9.1, but now the site only shows 2.3.3.

I'm assuming an updated version won't make a difference in the process of rooting? Or will it?

Thanks.

I installed the windows drivers for the commando, and used superoneclick v2.3.3 and it freezes on step #7 i am running windows 7, anyone else have this problem, is there a force root?

Wow, there sure are a lot of new members in here: welcome to the forums! :)

Enjoy your rooted XPRT and please remember that, once you're rooted, make nandroid backups before doing anything fancy to your phone! It will save you a lot of grief!

Okay okay both cheech4 and dm919, stop trolling especially cheech4! That was about as bad as youtuber's telling people how they dislike a song. LMAO SMH!!!

Jeffegg2 can ya post some updated links to drivers?

Anyone else who knows how, can you root Boost Mobile's XPRT?

As a follow on from above message the USA firm has told me the item is sim free and will run ok on my Orange Sim Card. As an aside the phone will not work in the States on TMobile or AT&T. Before I purchase this phone can anybody advise if it will run ok in the UK? as the last thing I wish to do is to spend time in fannying around with the mechanics of the XPRT which probably I will not completely understand!
Any help or advice will be appreciated.
