I notice the guide says to download Version 1.9.1, but now the site only shows 2.3.3.
I'm assuming an updated version won't make a difference in the process of rooting? Or will it?

Nope... Because Boost ships it with 2.3.5.. unless for some reason you have 2.2

Enjoy your rooted XPRT and please remember that, once you're rooted, make nandroid backups before doing anything fancy to your phone! It will save you a lot of grief!

with a teensy update (ADB) to drjbliss's root exploit found here: (XDA), I rooted my Boost XPRT this morning
I repacked it with ADB fix, USB drivers (Motorola Device Manager), and updated Superuser.apk here: (MediaFire)
To root:
1. Install DeviceManager (should take care of drivers. If not, let me know.)
2. Double-click "run.bat"

New member here and have great interest in buying a XPRT from the States.
As a follow on from above message the USA firm has told me the item is sim free and will run ok on my Orange Sim Card. As an aside the phone will not work in the States on TMobile or AT&T. Before I purchase this phone can anybody advise if it will run ok in the UK? as the last thing I wish to do is to spend time in fannying around with the mechanics of the XPRT which probably I will not completely understand!
