Root rooting

i am looking for a wway to root my htc m8 rogers i have tries kingroot but i lost root after a day kingo root is not compatable as is fararoot what else is there ?

Unlock your bootloader with HTC Dev, and then you can boot/flash a custom recovery (like TWRP) and flash SuperSU to root your device.
