Rumors and Speculation on Features and Specifications

So much news coming in all at once :)

I haven't been able to find how much space is built into the phone though, all I can find out is that the microSD supports up to 32GB.

It means the US galaxy II phones have the lowest pixel per square inch of current gen high end smartphones. MaximumTech | Which Smartphone Works Best For You? - Day 1: Displays - Page 2

Some of the other reviews give the iPhone display less points because it's easier to make a little display high resolution; and face it, the iPhone size of 3.5 inches is dated. No other high-end phone has a display that small.

It will be interesting to see how Apple handles a size increase on the iPhone 5.

I think I missed the live stream of the unveiling :(

You didn't miss much. It was mostly an exercise in showing off the TouchWiz operating system overlay.

I think you can see the show again here: Live From The Samsung Galaxy S2 Event in NYC!

I really think these guys who introduce new phones should watch Steve Jobs' intros over and over. Say what you will about Apple, Steve Jobs sure knew how to launch a product.

The E4GT (Eww) is about 1 mm thicker than the original... (9.59 vs. 8.49) but it's still thin enough.

For comparisons of the current cell phones specs (iPhone, Evo 3D, Photon, Nexus S and the GS2), see my final update on the first page.

This will be the final update unless someone tells me about an incorrect spec.

Notes:

You know, that is a good question. I haven't been able to confirm that the GS2 has a 16GB card, or even if there is one included with the phone.

Stay tuned....

The phone comes with 16 GB internal and no SD card just a slot to 32 GB is what I read on a different site today.

I am hoping for the 32 GB internal version to be released on Sprint as well cause I need 64 GB of space. Actually I need more like 128 GBs .....however no one else seems to care as much as me about this

Omg does this ever put a roadblock to my plans. I have the EVO 4G since June 2010. I was looking to upgrade for end of this year or 2012. The EVO 3D didn't impress me. The Photon is a great phone but not what I'm looking for. But this phone. The Epic 4G touch is woooooww. I was going to wait to see if Sprint was going to get the next Nexus but I don't know. I have a lot of thinking to do lol.

Ah, but those thoughts will be all good..... :D

Thats a nice phone. Iphone on sprint won't even matter, especially if they stay with that small screen. Now lets see the Nexus Prime.

LOL I wish I knew if the next Nexus is really coming to Sprint. That would make my choice easier.
