Run As date like app

I am looking for an app that allows you to run a program in the date and time that you specify without having to change the devices date settings..

yes the application start on that giffen date and time.
but you can't start the app every day on that specific specified date.
that's what he means.

that's not how i read the op. i think thom's post was spot on. tasker is great to set an app to run on any specified date and time.

I've said before, but have nothing to back me up!, that Tasker is simply a GUI front-end for Linux's built-in cron command. :o

Don't get me wrong! Anything that exposes more people to Linux--even when it is disguised as Android--is a good thing. I paid for Tasker...but have yet to find a use for it on my Android devices. On the other hand, cron--which can be extremely cryptic--I used to rely on every day, both at work and at home.

Can you think of anything I might put Tasker to work doing? :thinking: I just haven't come up with anything!
