Another thing im not sure of lol... i want to know if i decide to use Amonra recovery instead of clockwork can i just run unrevoked again to my phone, or do i have to unroot first ?

You can s-off and flash the recovery.

You can re-run unrevoked too, and afterwards you have to clear data on superuser app.

Its not ideal and is very rom dependant. You need to be on a stock 2.1 or 2.2

The main ones are:

-Change partition layout

-Flash radio, hboot, splash screen, recovery via fastboot

-Delete apps from system/app whilst android is running

Whats the benefits of changing the partition table, apart from making more internal space of course

That is the benefit really.

Depending on Rom, but a lot of wasted space exists in /system

can i change it while i already have redux installed or do i have to flash the new partition then re flash rom?

With the alpharev ones, I'm not sure. I would expect take a backup then flash table. You may need to restore it but I've never used that method
