I think I'm ****ed. I've been running FireFly mod on my captivate for a few weeks now. Last night, the battery died because I'd forgotten to charge it the night previous. I tried turning it on at one point without recharging it and it entered a boot loop. I've since charged it to 100%, but it still won't leave the boot loop when I try to turn it on.
I've tried entering recovery mode by holding down up and down volume and the power button, then releasing the power button once the AT&T logo pops up...but it just continues to boot. In fact, I've never had success going into recovery this way and have always had to use adb.
I've also tried getting into download mode by removing the battery, replacing the battery and then holding in the volume button while inserting the usb cord. It just went to the battery charging screen.
While its in its boot loop, it will vibrate every once in a while.
Please help!
