Help Running Out Of Space

Hi All
Really need some help to clear out some space on my S4.
Currently I am using 15.43Gb of 16Gb on the System Storage and
14.17Gb of 14.83Gb on the SD Card
Running Lollipop 5.0.1
How much memory is used up by stuff that has to be in system storage?
I have the Disk Usage app but when I start it I am given two options
1. Storage card (9489Mb)
2. ExtSdCard (15188Mb)
IF the storage card is the system then I appear to be missing loads of space and want it back.
According to the app:
4982Mb Apps
2666Mb Media
1252Mb System data
587 Free space

Not sure where the 15.43Gb comes from because I make it 9489Mb???

I may be wrong, but I think a handful of the storage being used is system data that is not listed (sort of like the hidden data on Windows computers). To help you out, I'd recommend shifting the 2.5gb of Media to the SD card. That's a start.
