Help running programs

So how do I stop programs from running all the time? I have some like a Bible and some other things that always seem to be running. Then there's things like email, uploads, play store, etc that seem to run for no reason. I've used task killers but if I kill there then go to super box for example it's still running there. It's like each killer just kills it in its screen.after killing it it will start up again a few minutes later....any help. Side question, what can I use to get CD art if I rip a CD to a comp then to my phone and it doesn't have CD art and titles. Is there a music player that does that. Sorry about the long post

ill talk about you music first,if you have music on you phone and you want the cd image to appear as well, just put the music in a folder with the image inside it as well, the stock music player will show the images, idk if the 4x1 size stock music player will, 4x2 and fullscreen will tho

alright now your apps, apps running in the cache are not always bad, there basically paused apps ready to instantly start when u want them you can use your task killer or go into running apps and manually kill them, never use auto kill on task managers, youll get issues

now your play store and such that seem to run for no reason is because your probly killing it during a process, google play, email, facebook, maps and many other apps open just to check for updates and refresh themselves, if you kill them during which they will shut off for a few minutes, then turn right back on to try and finish what you stopped it from doing before, the only 2 apps there i kill always are facebook and maps, mostly cause facebook is the only app ive ever seen in my cache thatll actually continue to eat memory until i stop it

also ive noticed, if your running a custom rom, that task killer wont always kill the program in the system, itll just stop the current process the program is doing, leaving the program itself running, in which case manual stop would be required

I guess I was wondering why Pandora, settings, voice, Bible, email, gmail, Google play, Google search, maps pico tps, etc etc opened all the time. Then after killing them and letting the screen go off then back on they're running again. And about the music....let's say I ripped a CD on a comp without internet so it doesn't have album art and titles then I put it on my phone. Any way to get it on there...any good music players. Thanks for all the help, first Android

settings is normally always on the list, if you didnt use pandora it shouldnt be on the list unless it was updating, bible, email, gmail googleplay googlesearch and google voice all will come up daily on there own to check for updates, google search and voice will also appear if u used them at somepoint

you phone has a built in music player that works just fine, in your case, you have a cd you ripped to your phone from your pc

you can use the phone or the pc if it has internet to google search the album art for this said cd, if you do it with the pc, just move the image to the music folder and re put it on the phone

if you do the google search with your phone you can either use a program like astro or another file manager to move the image or hook the phone up to ur pc and move the image from downloads to the folder with your music and it should automatically show up

No problem, again tho, things like google play and such its just better to let them do there thing instead of killing them

unless you find that something is giving you issues

for example sometimes my google play will stay on all day, then when i open a browser it will not load anything, i believe its because the google play is eating to much up to fast, i manually kill google play and bing browser insta-loads up

but unless you have something specific like that you should be all good
