Root RUU Problem ...

Hi,
I've just noticed that I have installed the wrong RUU on my phone, and that causedd a SIM problem.
The RUU I need is the following:
RUU_Marvel_BM_1.36.666.5_Radio_47.10a.35.3030_7.46.36.14M_release_189856_signed.exe

But this one give me a MODEL ID error .... I know that its this one because its working on my brothers phone (WE HAVE THE EXACTLY SAME PHONE), please can someone help !

If you check under the battery of his phone and yours. Bet their a little different. You may have a newer version or different carrier? Alot of the zips call for pg76100 but the newer ones are pg76200 I've had the same problem. You can check the zip there is a file called android info that states what model id its for i actually modified the zip for my model and got past the model Id problem but then it aborted for the Cid Carrier I D . So gotta figure that one out. As i understand it. MAKE A GOLD CARD. thats what I'm Gona do. When i get a chance. (Having driver problems.)/two jobs.
 
I have a virgin mobile wfs cdma with 2.3.4 and want to return to stock. I tried football's list a couple of times. There are 2 vm options and I tried both but to no avail. Also, tried htc site. Do you know where I can find the proper one.

When I try the 1.02.652, The RUU says asks if I like to change:
From 3.01.652.1
To: 1.02.652.00

I say yes, but, it won't let me. So, I think I need something more than 3.01.652.1

Also, note that I do have the bootloader unlocked. And, I have been trying to root this phone forever, and keep running into issues. Somethings work (like some preliminary steps), but not all. I had a soft brick at one time and thought I flashed alquez' cwm recovery 5.0.2.6. And, when I hboot, it can't find images, so, frankly, I have no idea where I am in the rooting process, and I thought I better start from beginning. And, would it surprise you to know that I am a noob? ha

So, if you think going back to stock RUU and you know where it is, please help.
