Root ?'s about removing stock apps with Titanium backup pro and root explorer

Hi I am looking at removing a few launchers from some roms for my own use and I have both titanium backup and root explorer and I am always getting that the launcher I am trying to remove can't be removed cause it's read only.

Please explain what to do please.

Thanks in advance

Tim

On the top of the page in Root Expl. , there is a tab that says mount r/w or r/o . You can change that option and it will let you move , copy , delete , etc.

If you use the root explorer method, go to your system/app directory. If you use titanium backup, open titanium, press the middle option at the top of that screen. That will give you a list of all your apps. Press them to select the one you want to remove, then when the pop up open choose uninstall, then yes on the following screen. However make a new cwm backup before you start in case you remove something that needs to be there, you can recover your system.
