?s for those who use Lock 2.x on Sprint Hero --->

Lock is an application that mimics the iPhone screen lock application. Similar to S2U2 for Windows Mobile, it requires the user to slide the finger across the bottom of the screen to unlock the screen/device.

I have a Hero in hand, but not yet activated so I am unable to try for myself. I wanted to know how Lock works.

The default Hero lock application has some issues for my use: Pressing the "Menu" key twice will unlock the screen without having to slide the default bar (on the screen) down. While in my back pocket, if the "End/On/Off" key is pressed, the screen will stay on for a while, giving the possibility that the screen will be unlocked if the Menu key is unintentially pressed.

QUESTIONS:

1) Does Lock address this issue? With Lock, what happens when you press the Menu key twice? Does the screen unlock?

2) Can you adjust the duration of "screen on" time when the End key is pressed?

3) Does Lock also act to prevent accidental call pick up (again, while the phone is in my back pocket) by requiring a finger slide rather than allowing an incoming call to be picked up by the Send key?

Thanks for any information.

Cheers.

No, no, and no. Lock2.0 looks like iphone and acts close enough on the surface, but the HTC retartedness is still lurking just beneath the surface.
