S II X Default Web Browser and Image Quality

If you use the default Web browser of the S II X with Gingerbread, you may find that images are grainy when zoomed. It would seem that the default browser does not do a great job of scaling compared to other browsers.

One forum member posted the comparison to an iPhone, where the iPhone was very clear, but not his phone. I had not noticed until he mentioned it. The solution is to install a replacement browser. Dolphin HD is free and does a great job as well as having more features available.

I use Dolphin too and like it better than the stock browser. I haven't noticed images being grainy on either browser but Dolphin seems to run smoother/better for me and the interface and features are nice.
