Help S Memo app issue

Picked up my Galaxy note yesterday and pretty impressed so far.

One thing I can't work out. The videos showing the S Memo app show clicking on the pen icon gives you a bunch of options for the colour and size of the pen and highlighting etc.

When I click on it, it just gives me options to change the colour and that's it.

Can someone else check if they get anything different? I'd love to use this for note taking but I need the flexibility of those other options.

This is a big + for me, so hopefully it works well. I'd love to just jot something down easily like that.

Its just there for me. There is a little drop down to add a colour transparency slider.

Just discovered that a short tap on the pen icon at the top of the screen brings up the full menu. If you hold on the pen icon you get the smaller menu
