Root S-OFF but still cannot access root menu?

Hi have a wildfire 2.2.1 / 2.24.161.2 - DETAILS BELOW

BUZZ PVT SHIP S-OFF
HBOOT-1.01.0002
MICROP-0622
TOUCH PANEL-ATMELC03_16ac
RADIO-3.35.20.10

installed HBOOT from unrevoked website and have tried all known settings with Unrevoked3 (info. from other threads), with and without htc sync but still cannot access the fone to install roms, keep getting this message when trying >

No image .........................

any enlightening help much appreciated.
