Help S Pen Feature Help Needed

I'm going crazy. Sometime today while reading on S Pen features (either manual or on the web), I read something where when you were using the S Pen, the cursor turned from a hollow blue circle to a solid Blue pulsating circle. I know it worked because I tried it when I read it but I can no longer remember what I was doing. Has ANYONE run into this feature?

Open Messaging (the text app). Send a text. Hover the pen over the contact icon (to the right of the "Enter recipient" box. It pulsates. (I have no idea why. Because there's more to come? Like the ... after an item on a menu?) It does the same thing in email if you hover over the contact icon.

Yes it's like that but in this case it actually did something. I just can NOT remember what it was. Very irritating. I must be losing my mind.

hahaha.. I guess it was not a big feature..

but now you got me wondering what you are talking about. :)
let us know... if/when you find out.

I didn't figure that one out yet but I did discover another one. When in a new email message, if you hover over the button to select a recipient, the cursor does turn a pulsating solid blue. If you then click the pen button once, it will display recent addressees.

Maybe this is it!: Any time you hover over something and the cursor turns a solid pulsating blue, you can click the pen button and it will present something else you can do. If you do this with a picture in the gallery, it will bring up a menu that lets you choose from frame, crop, edit or share.
