S Pen Issue

Hey,

Long time lurker first time poster.

I am having an issue with my S Pen. Everytime it hovers over an email it reads it aloud. I have talkback switched off and have not downloaded any apps that could have a feature like this.

Anyone have any suggestions to what this could be?

Make sure Driving Mode is not on. You can check this in your shade/slider.

You can also switch talkback on and then back off. happened to me once and that solved the problem.

Do you have Lightflow installed? There is another thread in here where the OP was having the exact same problem and Lightflow was the culprit.

Has anyone actually tested these suggestions?

I have talkback disabled, I have never used driving mode, and I don't use the regular email app I only use gmail. I created a regular email just for testing this and it reads aloud for me as well.

...and no, I don't use lightflow, never even installed it.

I use stock email app and it does not read aloud for me.

No lightflow installed. Using standard email app.

I did more testing.
It appears that having anything enabled in accessibility - services, enables talkback, even with talkback disabled in app settings.
I have Tasker on under services in accessibility, when I set tasked to off, the email stopped reading.

Yeah, just turned Tasker on and it did start reading my emails.
