S Pen won't scroll

I was using my S Pen before in my browser and noticed I couldn't scroll while using it anymore.

I've used my S Pen for scrolling before, but now it doesn't work.

Help me out please!

I just went into the stock browser and it works.

It doesn't work for me while using Chrome. Does Chrome not support this feature?

Chrome does not support auto scrolling with S-Pen for me. Stock browser yes. For better or worst, i am stuck with Chrome because it runs faster. Sunspider gives Chrome a score 880 while stock browser is hitting around 1050.

The weird thing is that Samsung Media Hub does not support scene preview with S-Pen, but Google Play Media app does! Weird!

Thanks.

I found Chrome was much slower than the stock browser. Should it be slower or faster than the stock browser?

Expect Chrome to be slower.
BTW, supposedly the Samsung stock browser is the Android (pre-chrome) browser.

Sunspider and Octane benchmarks show that Chrome is indeed FASTER than stock browser. In fact, Sunspider benchmark rivals the best from Apple Safari!

Give Chrome another try...the latest version is quite fast and smoother!

Benchmarks != real world usage. The type of sites a person visits is going to make a much bigger difference. Some are HTML5, some are flash heavy, some people prefer mobile sites while others prefer the full versions.

In the first test here, they just tested web page loading speed. Unfortunately they didn't include Boat in the test.

A huge difference is text reflow (aka text wrapping), Opera, Dolphin and Boat support it, Chrome and Firefox do not.

The problem with your link is that it is old. Chrome has released many updates with the recent one being a few days ago.

Yes, benchmarks may not mean everything...but it is also the only way to truly compare two (or more) browsers on a scientific basis.

Either way, all i am saying is that multiple benchmarks (all in fact) shows that Chrome beats stock browser by a significant amount. That is all. What you download or use is your business.
