Help S Voice too sensitive?

Newbie
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot for this question - I'm new and this is my first post.
I new to Android - I just moved over from the orchard, and my Note 3 is evesdropping on everything I say, or anyone around me says. Then randomly yells out "I don't have an answer to that. I'll search the internet for (insert part of my conversation here)".
This morning I was minding my own business, getting ready for work with my curling iron in hand, and suddenly she says "the devil? I'll seach for the devil for you". That's ok, really - I'd prefer you didn't.
Then later, while in my purse, she yells out "I don't know the answer - I'll search the internet". And people look at me!!
I thought that either I needed to deliberatly hold the home button down to bring up this function, or say "Hi Galaxy", followed by my question. However, this phone is so eager to help I don't have to do anything.
Do I have something set wrong - or am I shouting out commands I'm not aware of? Please help!

S Voice is a DISASTER! My advice? Never use it again. Google Now COMPLETELY blows S Voice away. Samsung obviously has ZERO interest in making S Voice usable.

S-voice is a joke. To this day I ask it what time it is in Virginia (where my parents live) and it tells me its 15 hours ahead of me and the next day. (It should be 3 hours ahead of me -- I live in California)....

Install Home2Shortcut and set Google Search to a double tap of the home button and your launcher to a single tap. Set the delay time for the double tap to "very short" to prevent your home button presses from feeling laggy.
