Help S2 broken since firmware flash - help...

Hi All,

I have a sim free SGS2 with a monthly Orange sim.

I carried out the firmware flash yesterday (eventually.. after a few hours of trying to figure out why Kies doesn't play with Osx).

Anyway. Im now on XWKE2. Since the update I've had the following issues.

On power up I get this message "com.android.phone" force close message
If I open social hub i get "process com.sec.android.socialhub has stopped unexpectedly, along with the force close option
I'm having issues attaching anything to emails and get a force close issue.

Does anyone have any idea how I resolve these? Would samsung support help me? or as the phone is only about 2 weeks old and the fault is due to a legal, authorised upgrade, could I swap the phone out at Phones4you??

Or any other options please ladies and gents.. most grateful.

ps.. the firmware flash has worked as the phone says it's updated to the latest revision..

phones4u are either going to re-flash it or if that doesn't fix the problem, replace the handset for me..

good service... thank you p4u

Sounds better than the P4U i went to, they just told me to go away and there will probably be an update soon to fix it!!...... rolled back to KE1 and all is good in galaxy 2 land once more.:D
