S2 for

Hi, I've not seen it yet but its unlocked and nearly new.
Its to replace my desire hd.

good choice and price?

That sounds almost too good to me. I would advise caution, but snatch their hand off if it is the real deal.

Plenty of life left in the SGSII, official Jelly Bean to come and plenty of development of ROMs and kernels still going on.

Well i picked it up and its a genuine deal. Unlocked, couple minor scuffs on the back. Its just so different to htc, which ive used for years, it just doesnt have the "quality" feel my desire hd has.

Welcome to the mad house of the SGSII forums.

Ignore the perceived lack of quality, to my mind it's what it can do that matters. I think you'll enjoy owning it.

I had the HTC before the Samsung and I thought I had done the wrong thing, but after time I am sure you will think differently as I did. The S2 is an awesome phone.

I'm slowly getting used to it the more I customize it and I've ordered a hard back cover which might help it feel more solid. The UI is quite nice though and it's very quick.

1st thing I did was get a casemate lite for it, then it's the thickness of other phones but with protection
