Help S2 Galaxy on constant charge

Hi Guys,

My S2 galaxy has since yesterday started giving me notifications that the phone has completed charging, even tho it is not even plugged into a charger! I get the notification during any state of battery. Anyone else had this issue or know how to resolve?

I've had the phone now for 6 months and installed ICS about 2 months ago without issues.

Which version of the S2 do you have? :)

Hi Iowa,

Its the GT-I9100. I've done some reading on the net, and apparently its the mini usb slot that gets dirty, or it could be poor welding on some devices which is disappointing. I was hoping it was going to be a SW issue as that is quick to sort out. Looks like now I will have to take my mobile in to get sorting :(
