First post to the forum, i apologize if i have posted in the wrong forum or overlooked the topic already posted but i couldnt find anything with the exact problems im having ,although i may have overlooked them
Ok, so i have been repeatedly trying to get my S2 LTE (rogers) to update to the ICS 4.0 but it goes wonky half way through.. i finally got it to connect to Kies fine, but now.. it says there is an update available. When i get it to update, it starts downloading the binary and everything fine, the first section continues to 100%. once my phone goes into the "Downloading... Do not turn off target" screen, my laptop pops up Unable to install device drivers, then Kies pops up with a "Notice" that informs me that the "PC failed to recognise the mobile phone, Please follow the guide shown below to try again"
However, this being the 5th time ive tried to re-start the update.. i am not sure if it is me that is doing something wrong? or if Kies does not have the drivers in it for my model SGH I727R or what.
Has anyone else Run into this problem and Possibly found a solution?
Thanks in advance, all help is Greatly appreciated!
