Help S2 problems

Hi Guys, galaxy S2 newbie here :)
I got myself a Galaxy S2 recently, following happy ownership of an HTC Desire. The phone is fantastic BUT I am having problems with it wanting to reboot all the time ( 4-5 times a day )! I narrowed down the problem to the fact that it does like sd cards of any sort ( which is annoying in itself ). So I stopped using an sd card and it has been fine for a couple of weeks. But now it has started doing it again, even without an sd card !! I have only downloaded about 5-6 appls so it cannot be that either.

It's driving me crazy and any help would be appreciated :)

Others have posted issues with rebooting due microSD card. The advice in those instance is to format the microSD card using the phone.

If it still occurs, then there are lots of reasons from apps to firmware. Another thing you can check is go to Settings/Manage Applications and under the On SD tab, see if any app is ticked. This means part of the apps are saved in the microSD card. Move it back to the phone. If its an issue with the microSD, its better not to have the apps there.

Also, have you updated the firmware recently. If you did, reboots might be caused by clashing of remnants of old firmware with the new. In that instance, I don't know of any way to solve the issue other than factory reboot and wipe the old cache.

Try the microSD work around first before going to the extreme.

Cheers
