Help S2 sending multiple SMS messages

I have an S2 and installed the handcent message app which i really like using. Recently though my friends are asking me why i'm sending them identical SMS's twice.

I have gone into handcent and set it to be the default SMS and MMS app on the phone and also went into the stock Samsung messaging app and tried my best to disable it as best I could.

The result is nothing. Everyone is still getting identical multiple texts.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Go into Handcent settings --> Send setting --> and scroll down to "I'm using Galaxy S2" and check it. That should solve it.
