Hoping someone can help. I swapped out the dying battery to my S2 for a fully charged spare battery and while it was restarting i docked it into my desk stand charger.
It now doesn't start up properly. It appears with the 'Welcome to GT-I9100' screen and prompts me to either create a google a/c or sign in to google.
In the foreground, every single process/app that tries to start up (i guess as part of the boot process) keeps stopping with the following message:
"The application <app name> has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again".
When I choose 'Force close', it moves to the next app/process and keeps going through them, sometimes even cycling back to ones already closed, so I can't even get into the google sign in screen.
I have stopped and restarted the phone a number of times, with the same result. Even replaced the battery with the original.
