S2 vs RAZR

Since I couldn't find a suitable forum subsection for this, I'll post it here.
I'm trying to decide between Samsung Galaxy S2 and Motorola RAZR. I know that RAZR is superior to S2, but all the crap with the locked bootloader kinda makes the decision difficult. So a couple of questions:
1. Which phone takes the better pictures/video?
2. With the locked bootloader on RAZR is it still possible to root without too much trouble?
3. Is the unlocked bootloader worth it to go for S2? The price is almost the same in my country.

Thanks for the responses in advance!

Hi Akusho,

I can only speak for the Galaxy S2, so bearing that in mind...

1. The S2 camera is great in good light. As light levels drop so does image quality, as increasing the ISA to compensate introduces noticeable digital noise. The flash helps, but tends to overpower portrait subjects and is of very limited range for anything further away.

2. n/a

3. If you intend to root the handset then the S2 is (literally) a one-minute job. It takes longer to download the required computer software than to actually do the deed.

Hope this is of some use.

1 - S2 has a better camera. That being said, the camera on the RAZR isn't bad, it's pretty decent for cell phone (but not nearly, obviously, the quality of a D-SLR).

2 - Rooting the RAZR is a piece of cake. Similar to what Slug said, downloading what you need to root it takes longer than the rooting process.
