My battery ran dry last night and putting it on charge this morning does nothing. Device wont turn on, doesnt have the charging icon on the display, anything I can do before calling into store?
Have you removed battery and then re-inserted back in just in case the connectors from phone to the battery are making a good connection?
What happens if you plug it into your usb just to rule out the charger itself being faulty?
You can also try if anyone else has the same phone to put there battery into your phone to rule out the phone being faulty itself? Or if you do take it back to the store.
Hmm with the phone not responding to anything there is not much more you can do, the only thing really is to find another battery if you can just to try and see if the phone response. This will rule out the third option that either your battery is faulty or your phone is.
You might have 0% battery so you probably can't do anything but I assume you cannot get into recovery mode as well?
Press and hold down Volume Up + Home + Power buttons at the same time.
then release all buttons when you see SGS2 logo (if it appears).
I would just try what I said above. So at the end of the day if you can't find another battery that you can borrow to try you might have to go back to the store.
Unless someone here may have another solution but we have ruled out a few options with the phone being 'dead'.
