Yer ive been on there already mate, my problem is I have the 4.1.2 jelly bean so need this kernel
#1.8. Android Version 4.1.2, Jelly Bean.

Download the Siyah v6.0beta5 .TAR kernel file and flash via Odin as follows in post #2.)

but the link is broken can't actually find the file??????:confused:

Just checked... the links for Siyah-s2-v6.0b5.tar are all working fine! ;)
 
Right ok, my mistake, I was clicking on the wrong download button lol, phone is now routed using the v6.0.1.2 siyah kernel, now I would like to install I9100_4.4.2_AOSP_NeatROM_v2.3 slimkat similar to the one I put on my s3.
now do I need to do this via odin and if so what settings do I use this time?

You flash all aspects of I9100 AOSP NeatROM Slim v2.3 (4.4.2) via CWM recovery and not by using Odin, as per the developers flashing instructions in post #2 of his thread.

You should do a nandroid backup prior to any further flashing and then carefully and thoroughly read the installation instructions for the above ROM.

Ive been on the xda fourms trying to work out what kernel i need to install, i'm more flipping confused now than i ever was lol, can someone please point me in the right direction pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaasssssseeeeee lol.

My phone details are as follows:-

philZ touch 5 installed
CWM v6.0.3.7

GS2 I9100

android 4.1.2

baseband I9100xxms4

Kernel 3.0.31-1418025 dpi@dell226#3 smp preempt wed 25 18:29:28 kst 20013

build xwms neat rom lite v5.5

I would like a kernel that i can overclock if poss?????
