Help S3 4G swipe function not working??

Got an s3 4g I don't have the swipe app installed ..DONT

i some how managed to turn it off (the factory version on jellybean) i didnt like it now i want it back so ive gone into it the settings continuous input is ticked predictive text is on but i cant get the swipe function to work at all how do i get it back

Go to the swype website and sign up for the beta, they will send you a file to download it onto your device.

If you never installed swype, then what you were using was probably the default Samsung keyboard with the T9 trace activated.

Do this.

1. Press the menu key
2. Select system settings
3. Scroll down to language and input
4. Make sure the Samsung keyboard is checked
5. Press the star or cog button next to the Samsung option.
6 Make sure that the T9 Trace option is check marked.

This should turn back on the swype like function for the default keyboard.

You can follow Digital Controllers instructions to install a actual copy of swype, which I personally think is better than the default keyboard.

thanks guys but i dont want swype yet, i just want to practise. as for the instructions...again..no go

6 Make sure that the T9 Trace option is check marked....NO OPTION FOR THIS HOWEVER EVERY THING I'VE GOOGLED SAYS MAKE SURE CONTINUOUS INPUT IS CHECKED....IT IS AND IT TOO IS GREY'D OUT.

doesnt seem to make sense..everything is pointing to it being turned on.....HOWEVER...i do have lightflow installed....could that be the issue? ive just found that lightflow is the reason for talkback being activated when i edit the homescreen in the pages. Could lightflow me stuffing up continuous flow????

This should turn back on the swype like function for the default keyboard.
