Help S3 Looping between Samsung and Android logo

tomgrant

Lurker
My battery died earlier on, so went to plug it in to charge and it went to boot as normal. Once the Samsung logo comes up, the screen goes black and then up pops the green Android logo with the animation, then black, and back to the Samsung logo.

I've taken the battery out etc, and have tried to do the volume up + home + power button to get to the hard reset screen, but it's not getting me there.

Help!

It seems that there's some application or virus causes the reboot. You may try factory reset but this will wipe all your data. So I'd recommend that you sent it to samsung service center to take a look.

First thing to answer i think is do you have much data you dont want to lose?
First thing id try is turn the phone off, hold in Volume Down then hit power till it sarts booting but keep holding vol down til it boots (loads).
When/if it boots it should say SAFE MODE at the bottom. what that does is disable all the apps youve downloaded.
If it works fine like that then go into settings and Factory Reset (you will lose everything that isnt backed up or on the SD card but itl fix it)
If not, come back n we'l do something even more fun lol :-D
