S3 stock camera file naming convention problem

Hi,

I may have weird question. I have 3x Galaxy S3 (2x I-535 from Verizon, one International I-9300). All of them updated to latest available android update (4.3) and I have problem with one of them.

one I-535 and I-9300 are naming photos as "YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.jpg", but other I-535 is using format "YYYY-MM-DD HH.MM.SS.jpg" (and I don't like this format)

I have no clue how it's possible and where to change it, but it makes mess in my pictures as I'm sorting them by name.

If you have any suggestions where to change it - it would be great. I've even tried to restore the phone to factory settings with wiping out the cache - still nothing. Those Verizon S3's were bought same day in one place.

Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome to the forums . now every photo comes with that date format.you can change the name . Do this by selecting the rename option. Just make sure the end of the name u have chosen should read . .jpg

Why the difference between two identical phones running identical firmware though?
Thats a strange one

I know that I can do rename.. but that's not the point (especially if I'm using auto upload to the cloud). The mystery for me is why two identical phones with same version of everything are naming photos differently.

The only difference is that on the phones I'm using external SD card as default photo storage location.
