Help S3 UK 4.3 update availability and BT4.0

I'm keen to update my unlocked S3 (I9300) from 4.1.2 to 4.3. Mainly because -as I understand it- this will enable Bluetooth 4.0 and ANT+ which I am very keen to use.

I read that the updated 4.3 update is now available in the UK, but when I check for OTA in Settings/About/Software Update, and via Kies, it says I have the latest version.

I purchased the phone via a well know UK online retailer, but I suspect it was German-sourced phone as that was the default language when I first started the phone. Could this be why I can not access the 4.3 update?

Post a screenshot of your "about phone" bro and hopefully people will be able to tell you :thumbup:
 
Whats ANT+ btw?
As far as i can see, this update only brings bad stuff to anyone thats maybe gona root/modify it

ANT+ is a low energy communications protocol used to connect external devices. It was developed years a go because BT prior to 4.0 sucked too much juice.
