S3 Verizon

Not exactly sure what you`re trying to do . . . can you be more specific about what you are trying to transfer to/from & what type of data . . . ?

I'm new to the whole smartphone era. I have a Verizon s3 and I had to do a factory reset. So I moved my real racing 3 game to my SD card(external). After the factory rest I tried to export the file from SD card but it wouldn't work. I have no idea what any of the terminology means. So I might just be screwed. Thanks

Hey there and welcome to Android forums!

I've moved this thread into the general Galaxy S3 forum as this isn't root related.

What your referring to would be the obb data if I'm not mistaken?

The easiest way in my opinion, is to grab ES File Explorer from the Google play store found below

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop

Locate where you put the data in your SD card and simply move the file into Android/obb

If your talking about an actual game save, unfortunately your mistaken and have the wrong file. Reason I say this, the game save files are located inside the Android/data/data folder which you need root access to to get into that folder.

From what I can gather above, your not rooted, and if you was trying to transfer your saved game, unfortunately it didn't work out as you hoped since you can't access the folder needed for that.
