S4 does not turn on

Samsung S4 GT-I9505 issue.

My S4 does not turn on. When I try to reinsert the battery with will just show the Samsung S4 GT-I9505 logo then shuts off. There are times though when I turn it on it will turn on and boot and go into the android OS where the phone becomes usable but only for a short period of time. It will then suddenly shut off again. What could be the problem with my phone? It is already out if warranty.

Need your advise.

Are you rooted? Custom ROM?
Is the battery fully charged? Have you performed a factory reset since this problem started?

I cant do factory reset.The phone does not boot fully to the OS anymore. Battery is fully charged. Not rooted. Use stock rom.

You dont need the phone to fully reboot to factory reset.
Just boot into recovery and do it from there

Before committing to a Factory Data Reset, I would suggest wiping the cache partition as per #1.2 of the Update Problems - Dummies Guide to see if that solves your problem.

Is the battery GOOD? It may be showing fully charged (green light on the phone) but really not be any good. If IA's suggestion above doesn't work, I'd suggest trying a different battery before doing the factory reset.
