Help S4 lag

I switch from iPhone to the galaxy s4. I love my s4,my only issue is I seem to have noticeable lag when texing and going through apps. Anyway to fix this?

I have moved this thread into the S4 forum in hopes of someone with the same phone being able to help with this issue.

One thing that may help is if you clear out your apps cache.
