S4 or Note 2

Hello all I am having some issues with my S3. I normally call and get my phone replaced before my warranty is up but I didnt do that this year so my phone is out of warranty and I am having some issues even after a factory reset. I have an upgrade available and am trying decide if I should get the S4 or a Note 2. So I am soliciting opinions. I am not considering the note 3 as I dont want to spend that much.

Just personally, from playing with both, id choose the Note2. Especially if youre gona root etc.

The big differences are size and screen resolution. If you want the full 1080p experience in a form factor that you're used to go with the S4. That's my vote.

I have the Galaxy S3 and my girlfriend has the Note 2. Personally I would get the S4. It's about the same size as the S3 and it has a more recent version of J/B (4.2) than the Note 2 (4.1.2). But my main reason i would get the S4 is that the Note 2 just is too big for my pocket. It fits, but when I sit down, it puts pressure on the phone and it bulges out and I think it would end up breaking. And if I put a case on it, it would then be just so damn big!

But if you want that S-pen or the larger screen, then it's either the Note 2 or Note 3. OR the Galaxy Mega with it's 6.3" screen and JB 4.2.

I would go with the S4 over the N2. Me personally I would always take a newer phone over an older one. Well, maybe if it's a hellava deal on the older one!
