S4 vs PS4...

Whoever wrote that article needs to open their damn eyes. While graphics on mobile phones have greatly improved, they are still no where near the level the PS4 or next gen Xbox will be able to produce.

That article makes me believe my own theory even more - That Samsung will release their own console, called the Nebula or something. Samsung were noted as taking on a large bunch of software programmers about 6 months ago and people speculated that it was to do with preparing to work on an all new OS to rival Android and iOS, but by all means they could be working on a console. I think they would wait until some new 'technology' or two (entities, like bluetooth, wifi) is invented that would give their console an edge over the other two that went too soon.

Mobile 3d games, eg like the NFSes and the new Ravensword one still seem a bit stiff and digital with the gameplay/movement, that's a distinct different I notice between console and phone gaming. The GTAs are the exception because they're ported, but from these two and the analog way in which they still handle on mobile, the capability to improve is there, but I'm not sure any developer can afford to throw enough money in to rival those games' gameplay when the returns on mobile platforms are small.

At the present,I think Samsung will not pay much attentions to the game console since now the market of game console is not very good.

Or desktop gaming machine. :p

As for Samsung, they are developing their own OS (also based on Linux?). Though it will be a more localized release. Whether we see this OS here will something else.
