Well, I was getting 4G at my house, and in town since I brought the TB home on release day. for the past week, I haven't seen a glimpse of 4G!!!! :( What's going on here? There was a big storm come through last weekend. Maybe it will come back? I can't really complain because my location isn't on the 4G coverage map, why then and not now?

THis was posted on another thread and might explain why your not getting 4G.

The towers have limited 4g channels. You might be in a 4g area, but the tower might be fully subscribed for 4g at the time. That'll push you down to 3g if you're lucky. There's an HTC bug due for correction regarding the ability of the LTE radio to detect tower oversubscription and switch over to the CDMA radio for EVDO. Part of the battery drain in 4g areas is TBs churning for a 4g connection because they see carrier but the tower naks them. The TB currently treats no as a less friendly form of yes.

Yeah I just read that like 2 seconds ago :p. I don't believe that to be true, but maybe. Idk I guess I'll hit of VZW customer service, and see what's up. Will probably get, "We don't see your location in a 4G area sir." :(

Goto the VZW store and get a replacement 4G sim card. Its known there was a bad batch sent out with these phones. Its a free fix.

LOL so if the towers are oversubscribed you are SOL. I mean that means some people might not be getting 4g even though they got a 4g phone. I have the same issue sometimes even though I am in great 4g area, it only happens around my house. It would suck to not get 4g at home because verizon thinks they dont need another tower closer to residential area.

It could be worse, just think of the poor SOBs (I work with one) that are paying Sprint a premium for 4G service but only getting 3G.

HMM I work with 4 people that have sprint, they never have any 4g problems may be because they live and work in 4g coverage area.
