Help Safe mode shows up on screen.

My phone just came up with safe mode in the bottom left hand corner. I'm not sure what if means or what it does to the phone. I did add Dr. Web anti virus light. Could that be the problem? Any help would be appreciated.

well, to be sure i would remove that app and see how the phone behaves. i have had this phone over a week and have not seen that happen.

Same here, running my phone a week and nothing like that has happened for me.

As I know, HTC phones will start in save mode if a combination of two buttons is pressed while the phone is booting.
Maybe you did this accidentally

It is like the save mode on a Windows PC.

Google done pretty good job weeding out crap apps in the Market, but should only download apps with multiple positive reviews posted As long as you stay away from the dark dredges of the web, no need for anti-virus app.

Are you sure you hadn't (accidentally) pressed the volume button while the phone was booting and then the phone went to Android's Save Mode this way?

And after a restart the Save Mode would been vanished

I too faced the same issue. I followed your instruction to reboot the phone and now its back in normal mode.
