Root Safe overclock speeds?

You would get different answers from different users depending on a few variables:
-Which ROM you are using
-What programs are running (and installed)
-What kernel is used
-And the phone itself will vary from your friends. You could have the exact same setup/apps/rom/kernel etc. but two phones will often act differently.

Best bet is to play around. Set the min to 245 and the high end to 1000 (1021?) with smartass gov or ondemand. Run it for a day, then bump up your cpu high end or change the gov. Run it for a day.
Then it is a game of eye-doctor "this one... or this one"
Have a NAND of your baseline, or if your gov-control app allows don't check the "set on boot" box. That way if you set it too high and it freezes you can bring it back down after a battery pull.
I am running AndyBonestock at 1200 smartass and it's about as good as I can get it.

p.s.
it is NOT all about quadrant scores! It's about how well it runs for you.

I am running andystock as well and I was wondering what kernel you are using to overclock. I have been looking for one to match this rom.
