Yes. I would suggest not using spaces. Sometimes that can cause problems with some programs.

Yeah it's fine. I would also avoid spaces and weird characters. I tend to stick with underscores, hyphens and alpha-numeric characters. I usually just add the rom version to the end of the nandroid.
