Hi,
I have succesfully Saferooted my S4 Mini running 4.2.2 Jellybean. I was able to remove an OTA update file for KitKat and disable the SDM update service, which was my purpose in applying the safe root.
From reading around, I think I understand that due to the Knox security, even flashing a factory ROM will/may set the Knox status to 1. I have two questions about Knox:
1. I booted into download mode, and on my phone the screen does not display Knox status as indicated in many posts around the net. KLMS Agent and Knox Store are listed under Applications, But I cannot find the Knox status anywhere. How do I find this?
2. I installed Titanium Backup and backed up several stock applications I 'd like to remove. I was about to remove those same apps when I became concerned that doing so may trigger Knox. Can stock apps that are NOT uninstallable on an unrooted phone be removed from a rooted phone without triggering the Knox flag?
Thanks for the help!
