I just ate a Spam, egg, cheese and mildly hot pepper on Rye sandwich. I loved it, but I crave more. Any good sandwiches out there I should know about?
I often have swiss cheese and orange marmalade on white. NEVER USE JELLY!!! Amazingly good. Yes, cheese and jam is a great combo. Especially if you add just a tiny pinch of salt. Very little salt, you have been warned!
I once had a plain donut and peanut butter sandwich with cream cheese. I often pass that one on as my own creation.
There must be some others out there I do not know about. Something savory would be welcome.
Like pickled herring and onion on a salt bagel. Or perhaps, melted swiss on rye with onions, peppers, tomatoes, salt and loads of fresh pepper.
Or (often hard to find) smoked eels, bell peppers (lightly cooked) and onion is rather fun.
Left over turducken is nice on a hard roll or hoagie bun. All of those critters on one sammy; it is like I died and went to a free deli in heaven that serves great bottomless pitchers of tap beer on Sunday and you never have to pay the tab.
