Help Samsung account

Hi there I am the owner of a brand new Samsung galaxy s3. It is my first Android phone, actually my first smart phone I'm 25 and have survived on the prehistoric basic flip phone for years on pay as you go... My son sent it for a swim my husband for ed me to up grade and already here I am in need of assistance!!!
When in store the man set few things up for me and upon doing so entered the wrong email address for Samsung account... Well holy am I having a hard time!! Although I was able to make account with appropriate email. When I try to use a my of the services(all of which I uninstalled or restored to factory settings hoping I would then get option to put in different address) I am unable to click or touch or switch the address?? So beyond frustrated.... Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi and welcome to AF.

You can manage your accounts from the settings menu.

It might be useful if you can provide us with the firmware version and what network/country your in as some providers mess about with the phone before they sell them on.

Just check under settings>about for the firmware info.

Well the easy way here would be to perform a factory reset. But if you don't want to go that route by losing your data we can avoid that.

Another option, if you've already added your other Google account, uninstall any apps you downloaded under the first Google account, navigate to settings>accounts>tap the email you want to remove, then tap the menu button and it should give you an option to remove it.

It won't work unless you have all the apps uninstalled that was downloaded under this account.

Is it the samsung account or is it the Google account? 2 very different things. What services are you trying to access?
