I am trying to root my admire which was never rooted i only updated to 2.3.6..... ive tried rooting many and many time already still no luck. can any 1 help with problem

I tried but i when i try to get into recovery there are no options of install on wipe data/ factory reset

go to the top of the forum go to all things root guide there's a listing of the odin files you need there download all these on your pc open open and follow the info that pops up after this when you boot up into recovery it should be there but before you flash the 2.3.6 update (also at the top of the forum ) make sure while your in cwm to select mounts and storage first and select to "mount" system this leave your system open to take the root zip in after that select reboot now then go to superuser app select preferances and goto update binary select that and as long as you have a good signal it should root it for you and your done !
