Help samsung admire battery life?

I was just wondering on how I can improve battery life because I constanly have to charge my phone. Btw my phone is rooted!

turn off wifi if you arent using it, check your running apps and close the ones that you arent using, turn your screen off when your charging or not using your phone..those will save you alot already

best i got on heavy usage has been these combanations on my red admire.
it is 2.3.4 metro stock ginger bread. i have a black admire loaded with the 2.3.6 that samsung upgraded too earley on their open sourse web site. its gota custom buid.prop file i got on this site.not bad at all but,still a few minor tweak are needed.


ok the best combination so far has been 2.3.4 stock metropcs,
with admiral beast theme rom loaded and battery xlr app with factory
test stopped (disabled or frozen,your option) in ( manage application /
running) from settings.


12 hrs heavy use, wifi and network use.it didn't seem to care.
the next thing we are trying is the longest battery life.

My phone doesnt go past 5 hours and thats without me using it. I just got it about a week ago you think the battery is defective?

Try the battery calibrator from the market. It helped on my ascend.

Use the power control widget to turn everything off when you're not using it, also be sure to turn off data because lets be honest the data speeds are slow as **** and you may as well only use wifi. This makes my battery last from 4 hours to a good 10+
