If you are rooted you could try these build prop edits. I cant tell you the out come will be but supposedly will help. Of course they arent going to increase your megapixels but they might help clearity wise perhaps. Just had them to the end of your build prop...That is if you are rooted.
# Photo and video recording quality tweak (2.3 Rom only)
ro.media.dec.jpeg.memcap=8000000
ro.media.enc.hprof.vid.bps=800000
and you could even play with those values.

If there is anyone else who has any tips I would greatly appreciate it 
i would like to know of a faster camera app, as in push the button and it tkes the picture without having to wait forever for the shutter to close
