Samsung and boost to unveil the Prevail 2?

According to evleaks Lmao Samsung and boost are apparently cooking up version 2 of the original prevail. No specs, release date nor price available yet. To guess Ima say max 3.7-4.0 inch screen. Ics 1-1.2ghz single core and 512 of ram but well see soon.

Samsung needs to stop putting out phones in wholesale quantities with little or no quality check and no long term support solutions to these phones.

I'd much rather deal with HTC. They put out few phones but have long term support for those devices. Oh well. That's just my intake on the matter. They must be doing something right, they're beating the pants off every other cell manufacturer...

If this is SPH-M840, the source code for it seems to have been released already...

The Samsung Galaxy Rush is the actual Prevail 2. It's the name it was developed under and is kept in Sprint and Samsung's data books as. The reason why the Rush dropped its brother's name "prevail" is because of the bad reviews the prevail got on its initial release. Samsung thought that by changing the name than people would not pan the Rush before it even got the chance to breathe. It's a marketing strategy that in the end worked and kept a steady cash flow coming in. I've had both phones, the prevail being the first android I rooted and deved with. But before all of that I did believe that the Prevail was a bit of an ass for $179.99 and that's what many other people thought too. The majority of people who buy android phones have no idea what root means and those were the people who really spoke up. Once I had CM7 I was head over heels for the phone lol. But like I said, 85% of people did nothing with the phone and complained their asses off about it. The info you guys are getting may be old, false or true. Maybe Samsung wants to make a prevail 3 but label it 2 to kind of experiment with the name. Only time will tell...

I have 1 suggestion... Boost is planning on unveiling their very own 4g LTE Samsung Galaxy S3 sometime this month or next month. Maybe this is what we are looking at. Now I do understand that the S3 already has a build number but those very from carrier to carrier. Maybe this is the title for Boost's S3. I will now leave again with an only time will tell... Lol

I am not 100% sure, but I think you are wrong.......

The Rush is the M830....... The M840 is a different phone with very little info available as of now.....

It could be very well, that the M840 is the "Prevail 2" !!!

The rush's code name is prevail2spr

I see its already out possibly? I did a quick search and it came back with this from Best buy. Possibly an unadvertised leak? I looked for it on boosts site but found nothing. Here's a link Galaxy Prevail II
 
I think that is very true! The reason being, I have a Rush. When an app stops and I report it, but this time I took a look at the phone info and mouth dropped to floor. It my phone was the prevail2 that was also its "nickname." Since my rush has been a putts here lately I shouldn't have a prob with an app stopping or whatever I'll try to screenshot it, and in settings under phone info it says Rush. Imagine that. About the jelly bean, that was automatically sent my phone via Samsung I think. I just saw something come across my screen that said phone update. Didn't think nothing more about it til its started screwing up my phone. Took it to boost to get a factory reset, cuz I dont have a PC for some program. Did fine for a min. Either that or the Google keyboard I just downloaded hell if I know. I'm on serious fixed income, but this phone sux ass!! Should have a new phone hopefully next mo. Can not wait. Just dunno what....I have to use boost or cricket, thanks to my ex husband.
I'll also try to get those screenshots.
